We prefer on site sales but as more HOA's forbid on site sales, we will work with our real estate associates to secure an off-site location if need be.
Most gated communities with security guards will work with us as we are reputable company. And we have our own retail location inside the Old Mill Market Square at 151 Southern Mercerizing Road in historic Tryon, NC for selling consignments and "off site" estate sales every day! Many clients simply moving from one location to another often find their furniture and personal items will not fit or are suited for their new home so they may have only a few pieces they want or need to sell.
Since we work with specific buyers, set decorators and interior designers, we find that sometimes we can facilitate such a sale best by conducting what we call a "Buyout" - that is, one money buys an entire lot. Circumstances dictate so please call and be prepared to forward good clear photos of the items you want gone.
We will meet with you or your representative to walk through the premises & get an understanding of the items that are scheduled to be sold. We ask about our clients' primary objective & inquire as to how they think we can assist them in the best way feasible. Will the property lend itself to an on site tag sale? Must items be moved to another location to be sold? Is an online, on-site auction or a virtual webcast auction more feasible? We offer you both a written proposal & then a contract
We organize and display all furniture and other items for sale. Every item is priced to obtain the highest price possible. Our multi source advertising features pictures of the items for sale and provides clear and concise directions for customers to visit on the sale date and times. Directional signs are strategically placed to guide customers to the home or sales venue.
Customers are greeted promptly by our professional and courteous staff. Any offers are considered by management and negotiated in the best interest of the client. Staff is provided to assist customers with their purchases.
Clients are provided with a full accounting of the sales for their records and prompt payment is made within 35 business days or less of the sale, minus our standard commission rate and any applicable or additional optional fees such as professional cleaning/disposal/donation services or professional auction services by our associated licensed auctioneer. Unsold items will be returned to client, donated or disposed of according the our client's instructions.
